My sad, lonely blog must miss attention from and interaction with me.

Maybe this will mark a month of posts me very day. There’s no harm in trying!

I’ve been wanting to make this for awhile. It will make its market debut this Saturday. It is a little blingier in in better lighting and worth checking out in person.

More bowls

I’m not sure when this love affair with papier mache will end, but I’m very much enjoying it. Next I need to paint the gapes I made from paper pulp.

Now comes the part where I get to play with paint and see how it looks on the papier mâché bowls and whatnot. I can’t lie, I love the look of the marbled paper. That was just distress paint and regular old copy paper. It looks better than I thought it would.

Squid

Here’s the first papier mâché squid.

A second one is in the works, but I’m having some trouble deciding on the color. I’ve even been tempted to add glitter. As much as I love glitter, I’m not sure that’s the right approach. Oh well, there’s no need to decide tonight.

More paper mache

The squid is nearing completion, but first, it’s a bowl made from origami paper. I really do love the collaged look of it.
